  • 4 April 2023 – deadline for delivery of nomination papers
  • 4 May 2023 – Election Day!
  • 5 May 2023 – count for contested elections
  • 9 May 2023 – the new Parish Council takes office

If you wish to stand for election, you must contact TWBC to obtain and complete the necessary nomination papers.

The TWBC Elections Team will be offering an informal ‘digital check’ of nomination papers this year. Once forms have been completed they can be scanned and emailed to nominations@tunbridgewells.gov.uk. One of the team will check their accuracy, and if they are valid, make an appointment for them to be delivered.

If the digital check shows that the nomination papers are not valid, one of the team will discuss the necessary corrections, and if necessary send out a clean nominations pack.
