My Community Voice

As part of Kent Police commitment to keeping Kent a safe place to live, work and visit, they are investing in supporting communities. Neighbourhood policing teams will be assessing and responding to local problems where necessary. They are looking to work with residents and businesses to make sure the issues that matter the most to them are addressed, and to have a positive impact.

To encourage active local participation, Kent Police have launched My Community Voice (MCV) which gives local people a say in how Police approach neighbourhood priorities and work with local partners. MCV is a two-way engagement tool that allows residents and businesses to tell them about issues in our area and will allow them to create a personalised policing response.

Many of the issues in communities can only be tackled by everybody working together and MCV is part of Kent Police efforts to achieve this. Not everything can be solved by the police, but if the issues that are raised are relevant for other agencies such as local authorities, fire service, health and social care, Kent Police will ensure liaison takes place.
