Community Surveys and Workshops
After a very successful online interaction Visioning Event in April, we are running a second Community Survey with more targeted questions on the topic areas. We would be grateful if you could please complete this via the link www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Pembury2
It shouldn’t take more than 15-20 minutes and will give you the opportunity to have your say in the future of Pembury. You’ll be able to give your opinion on topics such as housing needs, community facilities, local environment and green spaces and transport and infrastructure. There is also the option to book your workshop place at the end of the survey.
The Facilities, Employment and Local Economy Working Group are running an Business Survey aimed at local Pembury-based businesses; if you own or work for a Pembury Parish based business, it would be very helpful if you could also complete the survey found at: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/PemburyBusiness
We will also be running a Neighbourhood Plan workshop on Sunday 17 October at 2pm. This will be face to face (covid restrictions allowing) in the Village Hall Meeting Room facilitated by our Planning Consultants and members of the Working Groups. You’ll get a full overview of the plan, consider the emerging policies and discuss your thoughts and views with other Pembury residents.
The workshop will last approximately 90 minutes. All are welcome but places are limited, please book via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Alternatively, there is the option to let us know you’d like to attend at the end of the Community Survey at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Pembury2
Now is your chance to shape the future of Pembury!
Both the survey and workshops are an important stage in the development of our Plan, the research gathered from the community goes on to form our Neighbourhood Development Plan policies which, along with the Brough Council’s Local Plan, will be used to determine planning applications. Details of the Draft Local Plan including Pembury’s proposed site allocations can be found here https://pemburyparishcouncil.gov.uk/local-plan/
