Pembury Parish Council has listened carefully to feedback from residents regarding the proposed date for this year’s Fireworks Display. Concerns were raised that the original date clashed with Halloween celebrations and the following week was also too close to Remembrance Sunday.
In response, the Parish Council has agreed to move the event to Friday 24 October 2025.
Chair of the Council, Katy Brooks, said:
“We are grateful to the residents who took the time to share their views. We want our community events to be inclusive and enjoyable for as many families as possible. Moving the fireworks display to Friday 24 October means we can avoid the clashes raised and ensure the evening can be focused purely on celebrating together.”
The event will take place in Lower Green Recreation Ground, with gates opening at 6:30pm and fireworks beginning at 7:30pm. Further details about tickets, refreshments, and entertainment will be released shortly.
