Update from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council
We’re sorry for the continuing backlog of glass at our bottle banks across the borough. Due to mechanical issues we currently have limited availability of our two specialist vehicles used to empty the banks. We are collecting by hand for recycling as much of the glass that has been left on the ground as possible, but unfortunately with the limited availability of the specialist trucks we can’t empty the banks themselves fast enough to keep up.
We really appreciate all of the recycling that our residents do. If you are able to, please hold on to your glass recycling this week or use the facilities at the North Farm Household Waste and Recycling site.
