Pembury Hub – support to those in need during the Coronavirus Crisis

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council wishes very much to encourage delivery of support to the vulnerable in each area of their jurisdiction during this time of isolation due to the Coronavirus.

Consequently, after an online meeting between Charles Mackonochie, Chairman of Tunbridge Wells KALC, working with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Pembury Parish Council Chair, Katy Brooks, Pastor Dan Foster and Jennifer Roberts, Administrator at Pembury Baptist Church and Sue Nuttall, founder of Pembury Matters and Pembury Volunteers, it was decided that that Pembury Baptist Church will be the home to the Pembury Hub.

Pembury Baptist Church has managed the HOPE Community Larder since 2008 and therefore has relevant procedures in place that enables them to become the Pembury Hub on behalf of Tunbridge Wells Borough and Pembury Parish Council.

Pembury Baptist Church will be available for support from Monday to Friday and Sue Nuttall on Saturdays and Sundays.
