Following the recent nominations for Local Council elections in May 2019, we have been informed that 11 of the 13 seats have been filled. As there are less candidates than seats, the Parish Councillors will automatically be elected. The new council will run from 7 May 2019.
Pembury Parish Council owns and manages various areas around the village including:
- Pembury Burial Ground
- Pembury Allotments
- Old Church – burial ground
- Lower Green Recreation Ground
- Woodside Recreation Ground
- The Village Green
- The Old Coach Road
The Parish Council is also a statutory consultee for all planning applications in the parish.
We also run various events such as the Fireworks, Picnic on the Green and Remembrance Day for the benefit of Pembury residents.
