Is there any chance that this could be delayed to commence on Wednesday 25 July when the children have broken up from school and there will be less traffic coming to the village.

The Parish Council is meeting with SGN shortly to discuss the works and this will be raised with them. Thank you.

could a diagram showing exactly what directions into and out of Pembury are going to be applied be in place as the statement given does seem a little confusing and what effect are the closures going to have on bus services to and from Pembury. The traffic is chaotic as it is now god knows what it will be like when work starts. I bet most people will not have seen the section in the courier. Please make it well known and what the effects will be.

A map showing where the road will be closed has now been uploaded to the website. However, we will have more information once we have met with SGN next week. We will post any further information on the website and Facebook pages.
